It's really buggy, I would recommend it, but be prepared for tons of bugs. Like, the hard mode masks cannot be collected for some reason, the earl mask just disappears, some of the bonus levels work, but crash the other half of the time, the last mask you wore as Jacket will bug biker, such as if you were to wear jones, your sprite will be unmasked jacket with a chainsaw and when you attack it goes away but you will not have throwing knives, trauma crashes if you get caught twice, not a bug, but A+ and S scores are extremely easy to get, etc. However there are a ton of good things about this mod as well please fix these bugs to make the game more playable though.
i agree, however you actually have to find the masks in hard mode. rasmus is in the janitor room of clean hit. tony is in the exploding room in tension, but you have to wait for the mobster to shoot him, and for aubrey you need to kill the guy with the mask in biker's first playable scene

First of all it’s because HLM:R was not optimized (its was build on old HLM) and because of the many object game may lags so much on some PC.
Second, FUN Mode it’s a mess with sprites and Third Yes you need finish all levels first.
Level will be upside down and filter will be more blue, ammo will be reduced, more enemies, etc. (If you don’t know how to enable hard mode you need just press space bar in level select.)
For Aubrey mask I will give you a hint
Look around in intro of safehouse.
I don't really understand the download instructions, is there possibly a video or something similar for downloading this? (trying my best not to sound like a idiot)
Does Redux-Redux not really have controller support? I can interact with menus with controller but I can barely do anything else, and the right stick is not really locked around Jacket like in the original game.
Hello, I wanted to report some errors that I found in my game:
-There is a bug that Earl's mask, if you don't take it from the beginning, disappears and cannot be grabbed.
-Also at level 11 the letter does not appear
-Holding down the right click button does not release the weapon like in the original game
-When you have a thrown weapon, when you die it is replaced and disappears This information is not to make the work worth less, it is to point out several errors so that they can solve them. I am a big fan of the hotline miami saga and I love what they do. I really appreciate this project <3
if you don’t have puzzles in the redux but they do in the original, then you need to collect them again (well, more precisely, download the save on boosty because ˅˅˅).
But if you simply don’t have puzzles at the level, then this is just a bug that we are fixing.

im also running the 2nd version since i have the GOG version of hotline miami
also in trauma if you lose twice in the second floor (1st floor technically?) the game crashes.
in dustbowl if you die on second floor the game gets a fatal error and crashes. on deleted scene, the game just crashes when i open it.

just extract the winrar and you can use the executable for the mod itself.

Also, the Hotline Miami Beta easter egg seems to crash when I try to play it, any fixes planned for it?

Unfortunately, we cannot port Redux to Linux because we only have the date of the wines on hand, and especially since the game is made on 1.4.

deleted scene will be remade, but you can play it in hardmode, albeit poorly.
