After 1 year of development it's worth the weight... I mean wait!
Redux-Redux (R-R) is a project that aims to fix and add Redux features that were abandoned by their author. At this point we have fixed Tony on Hardmode and many-many other stuff that was causing the game to crash. I want to clarrify for those who didn't play: the work goes deeper than "just camera shake."
Some people think that R-R is a modpack or even a JOKE for Pi0h1. R-R isn't any of those things, it's what we all hoped Redux would be. We are only improving it and want to continue the mod.
HEY! Installation instructions were moved to the bottom of the page, right below the download button. Don't miss out on them, because there's a high chance you can get stuck at this stage... Apparently a lot of you do.

- Fixed the "debug" command.
- Fixed the puzzle.
- Fixed music still playing when volume is set to 0.
- Fixed crashes in the intro.

- Changed HUD and level selection.
- Reworked Rick’s mask—now it has a ricochet ability.
- Reworked Russell’s shader—now blood also appears on corpses.
- Reworked levels: Fullhouse, Assault, Push It.
- Changed the albums for Assault and Fullhouse.
- Added the ability to switch dialogue styles, HUD, and bullets between the first and second parts.
- Transition from Vertex 1 to Vertex 3 (Supposed performance improvement).
- Changed Clean Hit on Hard Mode.
- Reworked Brandon’s and Zack’s masks on Hard Mode.
- Changed hints and added Hard Mode hints in the intro for Biker and the hospital.
- Removed the dark effect on Push It for Oscar (temporarily).

- Added a sound cue when shooting on low ammo.
- Added Dodgers (with and without a pistol) and Zhiribas with AKS-74U's.
- Added a VHS effect on death (disabled by default, performance-heavy).
- Added a Noise.
- Added the Beaver mask as a reskin for Richard.
- Added a feature to switch music between Original, Crypt Voice, and Custom.
- Added console commands:
player,teleport,room_history,death,notarget. - Added an option to disable blood.
- Added random mask feature.
- Added blood on walls.
- Added an FPS limiter.
- Added an in-game grade menu.
- Added language switching between English and Russian.
- Security cameras can now track player (and can be destroyed).
- Added new finishers with a shuriken and a beer can.
- Added intros for masks that start with weapons.
- Added pause menu settings.
- Added the ability to skip level intro's.
- Reworked guys that hide with M16.
- Enemies can now pick up other weapons if they run out of ammo.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD HOTLINE MIAMI REDUX-REDUX?
- 1. Downloading the Mod
The first step is to download the Hotline Miami Redux-Redux mod from the itch.io or Boosty platforms. Find the mod page on your platform of choice and click on the download button to save the mod files to your computer.
- 2. Installing the Mod
There are 2 archives, one is for the Steam version and second one without requirement for the original game. If you have the Steam version, overwrite or merge files in the process if necessary. If you have a pirated version or no Hotline Miami at all then simply unpack the mod archive into any folder.
IMPORANT: While we are constantly working on the mod, there are still a lot of bugs, save system isn't an exception. If you're worried about your saves and your progress in the original game, we recommend you install standalone version and copy your save files from your previous installation of R-R over to it or you can download a full unlocked save and put them in Appdata\Roaming\Hotline_Miami_Redux_Redux\.
- 3. Launching the mod
After unpacking the mod into the game installation folder, you can launch Redux-Redux through the executable file, but not through the Pi0h1's launcher (Advanced options), because in that case the game will simply not start (We are already working on a new launcher)
Now you can enjoy the game with the Hotline Miami Redux-Redux mod!

Great Mod i really appreciated your work, it has been flawless and was with better QoL than the original. 9.5/10.
Note:for those who have game speed issue (it works slower than the original) i suggest cranking the FPS limiter to 90 (idk why it made the game faster but mostly it has something to to with screen refresh rate) and the problem is fixed.
is this game to safe to download? cuz i dont want anything to happen on my pc

Why is it slower
When I wore Ted, the dogs still attacked me which should not happen, the perk is "Dogs don't attack." please change this

the big guy can just be killed with a shotgun im pretty sure or lots of rifle shots. he bleeds out overtime once he's injured i think
For the big sword guy at the beginning you can only use melee weapons to kill him.

This could be problem with your PC, as same happened on our employee end on his old PC (not exactly pc, more like android device with windows on it) from somewhere 2003-2013. (I think 2003-2013?)
Hi!, it's me again, RetroBull who wrote about the upgrade back in April-May (I don't remember exactly when). I'm still playing Hotline miami Redux - Redux, and today I was wondering if there's any progress on updating this resource, and if so, did my idea about hardcore and masks get a boost for development, or was it immediately discarded? (And yes, I'm still using the damn translator =] )

I downloaded the mod on my girlfriend's laptop, but for some reason my game is very slow and I wanted to know if it's something in the mod that can be solved. I'm happy to know if there's a solution.
Приветствую. Мод отличный, я в него играл с давних пор. Но возникает такая проблема, что мой комп, тянущий Красный Мертвый Искупление 2 на средне-высоких в 60 фпс, не может вытянуть Горячую Линию Майами Редукс-Редукс даже с включенной оптимизацией через настройки.
Раньше все шло со свистом, а теперь полу-слоумо, полу-фигпоймичто.
Я когда то начинал проходить ваш мод на Ютубе и один разраб мне написал, что стоит обновить пека, потому что мод так себе идет на слабых пк, особенно учитывая то что еще и запись жрет ФПС. Я послушал его, через полгода сделал апгрейд, и тогда тоже все шло хорошо.
Но вот именно эта обнова всю малину испортила, даже без записи игра идет в лютейшем слоумо, заставляя меня возвращаться в те времена. Обнову стоило назвать "Flashback Update". Графика у меня если что от AMD, не думаю что советы для Nvidia мне помогут.
П.С. Извините, зря быканул. У меня был включен Radeon Chill, который выключить смог только с помощью сочетания клавиш. Я так и знал, что проблема изза него, но не мог понять как его выключить, потому что драйвер не открывается и только после того как загуглил, я попробовал и реально сработало. Удачи вам в ваших начинаниях.

Same as last reply. That could happen in the next update, but it will take a long time, I hope we get things right and fast. For now there’s none Linux version, I am quite sorry.
A little while after I left that comment, I actually ran the EXE in proton, and I will say that it does work on the experimental branch, but I was unable to remap the controls to be for controller

Does anyone think that "Good at Melee" should just be a general game feature? It feels like every Heavy Weapon should be able to do that.

only problem is the game running much slower than before. there is a fix for nvidia, but is there one for intel? I am running on MacBook Air Early 2015 (Windows 10), specs are i5-5250U 1.60GHz, 8GB DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 6000
The game engine performs poorly with integrated graphics. As for Intel, we don’t know exactly how to optimize the game in this case.
Fullhouse и Assault на Харде приятные, но Push It превратился просто в лютую помойку. 1 этаж - если у первого нет холодного оружия - делаешь крюк. Левый этаж - молись, чтобы оказался скорострельный огнестрел. Правый этаж - багает револьвер в подсобке (Появляется не за Расмуса)+прострел в конце коридора от трех противников с двух сторон=фигота. Здесь даже доказывать как-то странно.
Доджер на Clean Hit вынуждает использовать топор, вынуждает тебя разобраться с ним до окна, поскольку может произойти вот это. Не надо так. Самое смешное, что за Обри этаж вообще простым становится. Может все-таки заменить врага на толстяка? Да и подбор топора неудобный.
Зак смешной, но бессмысленный. Брендон очень нестабильный.
У мили доджеров изредка свитчится анимация - быстро прокручивается. Не зависит от типа оружия.
Про Чарли все еще не согласен со скоростью анимаций.
В некоторых случаях (Причина не установлена, ПОСТОЯННО НА PUSH IT) добивание стоя дает пушку врага без патронов
"Added intros for masks that start with weapons" - Обри, Грехем, Рик, Чарли, Карл без них. Но добавленные анимации крутые.

I've been enjoying the mod a lot, despite the crashes.
Thankfully restarting the game is super fast, so it's not that big of a deal.
I found what could possibly be a bug, or just something I broke by cheating, but I figured I should let you know either way:
When I used the console to check out what other maps were available, I randomly found the Rasmus Hardmode unlock map.
However, the mask was not unlocked afterward.
I later found out how to unlock it legitimately in Clean Hit Hardmode, but even then it would only stay unlocked for as long as I didn't quit back to the main menu.
As soon as I quit, it would be locked again.
Anyway, thanks again.
Hoping to see more cool stuff from you guys soon.

The Nvidia panel doesn't appear and I don't think it will work because my PC doesn't have an Nvidia graphics card. Is there any other solution?
